Charging station status LED indicator

The LED indicator (1) can emit green (, ), blue ( ), or red ( ) light. It can be steadily ON, pulsing, or OFF.

Authentication LED indicator

The LED indicator (2) emits white light. When active, the LED is pulsing.

Supplementary LED signaling

Three LED indicators (3) emit white light. When active, the LEDs are pulsing.

Do the authentication. Use one of the following method:

  • Approach your RFID card to the area of the LED indicators and button.

  • Open the INCH Core App on your mobile device while standing in proximity to the charging station. Make sure that Bluetooth connection is enabled on your mobile device.

Authentication/Authorisation:

  • rejected

The charging station is available and ready for charging. Authorisation is already completed or not required.

Plug the charging cable into your vehicle and the charging station (if not already done so).

Charging starts shortly after both ends of the charging cable are properly connected.

Preparing to start charging

The charging station communicates with the EV and vice versa just before charging starts.

No action is needed.

After completing the charging station and vehicle preparation, the charging session starts.

Charging session

 

Blue LED is ON

All the LEDs are pulsing in a waves from left to right

Animation speed is higher when charging is in fast mode.

at the charging session start

The charging station is charging; the charging is in progress.

No action is needed unless you want to:

Charging in progress until interrupted/stopped by the vehicle or charging station.

The charging mode is changed from interactive to fast or vice versa if you changed the charging mode.

Charging paused by EV

 

Blue LED is ON

All the LEDs are pulsing rapidly and simultaneously

Animation speed is higher when charging is in fast mode.

 

Charging is paused by EV:

  • EV battery is fully charged

  • EV Schedule setting

Unplug the charging cable if you want to stop the charging session.

If the session is paused by the EV Schedule and you want the session to continue, no action is needed.

In this phase, you can change charging mode from interactive to fast and vice versa.

The EV’s battery is fully charged.

If the EV Schedule pauses the charging session, it will automatically resume once permitted by the schedule.

The charging mode is changed from interactive to fast or vice versa if you changed the charging mode.

 

Charging paused by the charging station

The 1st LED on the left is pulsing

Animation speed is higher when charging is in fast mode.

 

Charging is paused by the charging station due to:

  • Set schedule,

  • Schedule from a central system,

  • Feedback communication from Core Load Guard,

  • Derating charging current.

Unplug the charging cable if you want to stop the charging session.

If you want the session to continue, no action is needed.

In this phase, you can change charging mode from interactive to fast and vice versa.

The EV’s battery is partially or fully charged.

When the conditions for continuing the charging session are met, charging continues automatically.

The charging mode is changed from interactive to fast or vice versa if you changed the charging mode.

 

Charging station is unavailable

All the LEDs are OFF

 

Indicates the charging station is unavailable because there is no power.

There can be many reasons for power outage. For more information, you can contact your seller’s support.

 

Charging station is in fault

 

Red LED is ON

All the LEDs are OFF

 

Indicates the charging station is set to unavailable. Check the Troubleshooting.

If the charging station is set to unavailable, you can enable it via the INCH Core app.

 

Charging station is in fault

Touch button

The touch button can be used by lightly touching the button for a short time.

By using the touch button, you can switch between Interactive and Fast charging modes. You can change the mode only when the Charging station status LED indicator emits blue – .
