Open Charge Point Protocol (hereafter OCPP) is an open standard initiated by E-laad (now ElaadNL) which describes a method enabling electrical vehicles to communicate with a central system.

Ocean supports 4 different protocol types:

If you use own staging environment pay attention to domain in links above.

Example for Ocean and station ETREL G6:

  1. when you configure charging station in Ocean, you have to choose protocol

    IMPORTANT: Protocol charge point identity must be the same in OCEAN and in charging station as shown in picture bellow.
  2. enter URL into station settings
